The ‘Astro Man’ print forms one of the central images in the spaced out collection. It juxtaposes two main elements – the background, a found map of New York City from the 1800’s and the foreground – a representation of a man in a space suit inspired by Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to go to space. This is the same suit that he wore on his maiden voyage into outer space. This is also the same artwork that appears on BISKIT’S Astro Denim Jacket.
